My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although it was a bit different from the photos online, was decent overall, but there were some issues like a cracked handbasin and inconveniently placed columns. The noise from other guests was also a downside. On the bright side, the service was friendly and helpful, and the location was very central, making it easy to explore Tromso. However, the presence of a shop selling sex toys next door was not ideal.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Polar. The rooms were recently refurbished, offering plenty of space and a beautiful view of the church, mountains, and fjord. However, the narrow layout was unexpected compared to the business double rooms I had booked previously. The service was top-notch, with the breakfast buffet being a particular highlight. The location was superb, close to transportation and key attractions, although adjusting the heating was a bit challenging.
